DO PHOTO: SCHOOL PICTURES
This exhibit is part of The Scotiabank CONTACT Photography Festival and features school portraits, class pictures, and graduation photos from people in our Trinity Bellwoods neighbourhood, as well as pictures from the City of Toronto Archives. Some pictures will be of major milestones and some will just be bad fashion statements. We will capture the humour, the diversity and the generational fabric of Toronto through the common thread of school.
Stroll along Dundas West between Grace Street and Bathurst Street to view the images displayed in store fronts.
The Scotiabank CONTACT Photography Festival_ marks its 20th anniversary in May 2016. To celebrate this milestone, an expanded program focuses on 20 Primary Exhibitions at major museums and galleries plus 20 Public Installations at sites across the city. From enduring practices to new forms of expression, the Festival showcases a diverse range of photo-based works by Canadian and international artists.
